I have repeatedly had occasion to write on the subject of absolutely destructive processes that are taking place in the religious sphere in Ukraine. The existence of two Orthodox churches of the UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate and the UOC-Kyiv Patriarchate, until the February revolution was not an acute problem. Church each other ignored, and the government mostly did not interfere. At the end of his career, Viktor Yanukovych tried to find a common language with Filaret, which was criticized by the UOC-MP.
